Meet your therapist

Hi, my name is Karishma! As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with young adults, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. I have a particular passion for supporting individuals and couples from South Asian backgrounds who are balancing cultural expectations, family dynamics, and personal growth.

I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and encouraged to explore difficult emotions, long-standing patterns, and present-day stressors. In my work with couples, I help partners better understand their relational dynamics, strengthen communication, and rebuild connection when closeness feels strained.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), supporting clients in understanding the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful patterns, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful change within a goal-oriented framework that emphasizes accountability and steady progress. Therapy with me is a supportive and collaborative space to gain clarity and take intentional steps toward greater emotional balance, confidence, and connection.
